My Dream X40 robo vacuum mop pads are coming off after I changed to replace worn out old mop pads.
Dear friend, thank you for your question.

The X40 Ultra's ineffective dust collection may be caused by the following reasons. Please check the following steps:

1. Dustbin is full: Check if the dustbin is full and empty it promptly. Centralized dust collection models generally don't have this problem, but you still need to ensure the dustbin is clean.

2. Clogged Filter: Check if the filter is clogged with dust. Remove it, clean it, and let it dry before using it again.

3. Main Brush Entangled in Foreign Objects: Check if the main brush is entangled with hair or foreign objects. Cleaning it will improve cleaning efficiency.

4. Suction Level Setting Too Low: It is recommended to increase the suction level to enhance cleaning effect.

5. Smart Cleaning Mode Settings:

- For initial use or when the floor is very dirty, select "Small Area One Wash" in 【Custom Cleaning Mode - Self-Cleaning Settings】. After using it a few times, adjust it to "Large Area One Wash".

- Enable the ultimate smart cleaning mode for a denser zigzag cleaning path throughout the house for a more thorough cleaning.

- You can set a sweep-then-mop mode and adjust the suction power and number of cleaning cycles.

6. Secondary Cleaning Optimization:

- For larger homes, use the "By Area - 10 square meters" setting initially to adapt to the machine's cleaning effect.

- Manually mark the dirty areas and enter the custom cleaning mode to set personalized sweeping and mopping parameters. - Stubborn stains require multiple cleaning sessions using appropriate cleaning methods.

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, please contact customer service.
