Detergent Dispenser

I finally set up my Dreame L40 Ultra Gen 2 today, and ran it on the “mop after vac” cycle. The vacuuming went perfect, and then I received an error that the Detergent installation was wrong. Was this something that was supposed to be included? I didn’t receive the dispenser or any actual detergent. Super confused as I am seeing so many mixed answers on this. The space for the container is there.

There should be a container in that slot to the left, where you would put the detergent. Maybe yours didn't come with it due to a mistake from the factory?

You have to take the cover off the unit and the detergent dispenser is on the left. I discovered this about a month ago after getting constant “low detergent “ alerts.

Mine didn’t come with one either

My model did not come with the detergent mini-container included. I bought it on Amazon for around $40.

Mine either! Is there another cleaner that will work with it?
