[X40 ultra] Restoring Maps After Reset

My robot just returned from warranty maintenance, where a hard reset was made. As a result, I had to remap and re-customize (no-go zones, thresholds, custom names, etc.) my map.
It would have been very useful if there were a feature allowing the user to restore a map stored externally after a reset.

Agreed. iRobot does that. It gets saved in the cloud.

Map editing button/delete map. This will bring up the quick mapping option.

Have you tried Settings/Edge & Corner Cleaning Settings/ to enable SideReach and MopExtend?

So you can’t restore your map that you saved as a backup after they perform a hard reset? Did you save your map as a backup previously?

That's correct. The map and backup are stored on the robot, I believe. A hard reset wipes everything.
