Question Regarding The Airstyle Pro HI Auto Curl

So I have tried for over four hours to set my own sequence for the auto curl. How am I able to select the timing sequence for auto curl but with the heat and speed settings I want? The default one does not even actually curl my hair. It seems pointless to have auto curl if you can’t even set it up in a way that works for you. Every time I try setting a sequence, it reverts back to default. Please help!
