Side brush not spinning on carpet? Here's how to change it.

If your side brush stops spinning when your robot moves onto carpet — don't worry, this is actually the default setting for most models.

The robot does this to reduce resistance and protect the brush. But if you'd prefer it to keep spinning on carpet, you can turn it on in the app:

  Open the app and go to Settings
• 
  
  Select Carpet Settings
• 
  
  Turn on "Side brush rotates on carpet"
  
  

That's it.

⚠️ One thing to keep in mind: older models may not support this feature. If you don't see the option in your app, your model likely runs with the side brush off on carpet by default, and it can't be changed.
