L49 Ultra Gen 2 is not clearing to the base. Tons of dog fur

I’ve had the machine for roughly a mo th and notice hair balls all over the house so I flipped it over and I don’t think it has ever successfully emptied into the base. Also the bag is basically empty. What’s wrong

My L40 Ultra Gen 2 is not picking up hair and debris into the box it’s getting trapped before the box.  When it goes to be emptied it’s not sucking the debris through hence very little if anything by in the dust bag.  What am I doing wrong?

Same thing will not auto empty
