[L40 Ultra Gen2] Can’t dock the vacuum

I’m unpacking the vacuum for the first time and I cannot either manually dock the vacuum or it says automatic docking is engaged, but it can’t dock. What do I do?

Having the same problem. How can we resolve this. The vacuum has no battery so and won’t charge even when in contact with the doc

I sent a message weeks ago about a problem I’m having and I have no answer. I paid like $1500 for this vacuum mop.  Ridiculous I still have dirt all over my floor because for some reason the machine isn’t picking up the dirt. I find clumps of hair around some hair in the container I need assistance. I greatly appreciate a response. I have tried cleaning centers. I’ve tried cleaning the inside of the base. I’ve tried many things.

1. Check the charging station

* Make sure the station’s power cable is securely plugged into the outlet.
* Check that the station has power.
* Place the station against a wall on a hard, flat floor.

2. Clean the charging contacts

* Remove the robot from the station.
* Check the metal charging contacts on the bottom of the robot and on the station.
* Clean them with a clean, dry cloth.

3. Place the robot on the station

Position the robot correctly so that its metal charging contacts touch the contacts on the station.

Hope you figured this out quickly. I had a similar problem—it would go to base station but not dock & I was running low on power. Once I realized  there was a protective “remove first” film on the vacuum, it docked beautifully & charged fairly quickly.

Where was the film

Check all the way around the sides of the robot (moving) unit. I believe it covered  the sensors, but don’t recall exactly where.

My robot seems to have problems docking and since it needs to dock to charge it will not work!
This happens often.  I have spent hours on this robot since my son purchased it for me.  What is the solution on getting it to dock properly??
