Transition question

I have a D10 Plus that has problems with a transition in my house. Sometimes it goes right over it with no issues, other times it seems to approach it slow and at an angle and can't make it over and then gives up. Is there anything I can do so it will not try to approach the transition slow and at an angle?

In the map editing space, there is an option to add a threshold that can be crossed. This might help.
