[A3 AWD Pro 2500] Can’t Connect to WiFi

Does anyone have suggestions on how to connect to WiFi? I’ve already had my internet band split to allow both 2.4G and 5.0 G I make sure to select 2.4 to search. The robot connects to Bluetooth on my phone but always fails at connecting to WiFi. Comcast says it’s not a firewall issue, but a communication issue. Today is the 4th day of me calling, chatting with AI & live agents, and I’ve been emailing 2 days. The robot looks gorgeous and solid & I really want to keep it. The rep told me to wait 24 to 48 hrs for a response. They don’t understand even on sale, this thing is too expensive to sit in my living room. I would appreciate any advice.

Perhaps renaming the bands might help (ie, ROUTER_24 and ROUTER_50). Good luck.

Probably a defective unit. Return it for a new one. Why waste time if they can't get it working right away.
One question, do you use a VPN?  If so, disable it.

Yes, I have disabled the VPN on my phone. Yeah, I think it’s a faulty robot. My problem is the escalation team only communicate by email. No matter if I give them the same response over and over again, they keep emailing the same questions. It’s obvious they forgot to load something on the unit. Thanks.

Yes it is connecting to my phone by Bluetooth only. And I have 2.4 GHz selected each time, It always fails to connect to my WiFi. Thanks.

If your 2.4 & 5 ghz network share a name thats more than likely the issue.

I figured it out!! It’s on my WiFi network now. After removing the VPN off my phone (Norton), I turned the robot off overnight, today unplugged my router and my phone for 10 minutes to let everything reset. Turned the robot back on & Voila!! that worked!!
Thanks everyone for the great advice. BTW Dreame’s escalation team emailed me to apologize for the repeated instructions. Guess I was being a little dramatic.

I just set mine up a few hours ago and after doing the bandwidth go back in and there is a drop done and change it to your WiFi name from the Dreame name and it will then connect to the WiFi

This is my first time so please forgive my ignorance. The mower is fully charged but it is dark so I jus want to turn it off but don’t know how to do it. I pushed the power button but it doesn’t do anything. The app says it is on stand by. Do I just leave it on standby all night?

The only time I shut off my mower is during cleaning and blade replacement. Press and hold the power button on the mower to turn it on & off. If you have the PIN required option turned on in the app, you will need to enter the pin to shut it off.
