Is there an option where before entering a new room to go back to the Home station and clean the mops pad and fill up the water to clean the next room? And I just noticed that it was cleaning a room and the mop pads are going, and it went on a rug with the mop pads turning shouldn’t the sensors sensor that it’s on a rug and turn the mop pads off.?

To clean mop pads before every room, clean by room, one after another. Check the carpet cleaning settings: they may be set to Ignore (carpets).

My L40s Ultra was first set to clean and refill mops after mopping every 118 ft or so. I found the setting to reduce or increase the footage or change to a timed option which I set to every 20 mins. There's also a setting to have it done after every room, which for my small house was unnecessary and excessive.
