Dreame docks

Is there a way to make the X40 dock lights always on?  If it's on standby and not drying or washing, the light turns off, and I don't know if the water is empty. On the Roborock, the lights are always on.  Another annoying thing is that if the Dreame is out of water, it cancels all scheduled cleanups. This is frustrating because if I'm going somewhere and there's no water in the dock, it does nothing; it could at least vacuum.

When the robot is fully charged and enters standby mode, it will turn off. If there is no water in the robot's water tank, it cannot wash the rag. Operations or tasks involving washing the rag cannot be performed. You can perform single scanning tasks.

Is there  away to move the x50 from a cleaning station in the basement, to the top floor where the docking station is at for washing mops and emptying the bin?
