[X40 ultra] Weird Noises??

I’ve had the x40 ultra since the beginning of April. We use it pretty heavily due to having 3 pets who shed. These 2 different noises started about a week ago (smacking and squeaky noise) and i’ve made sure to clean it top to bottom and no clogs or dust is stuck anywhere I can noticeably see. Does anyone have any experience with this and how can I fix it?

Dear user,

Thank you for contacting Dreame,

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

To address the issue, please follow these troubleshooting steps:### Loud Operation

1. **Check Suction Settings:**- Verify if the suction is set to high in the app. Higher suction levels will result in increased noise.

2. **Carpet Boost Mode:**- If carpet boost mode is enabled, the robot will automatically increase suction when it detects a carpet, leading to louder operation.

-If Abnormal Noise During Operation:

1. **Initial Check:**- Remove the side brush, main brush cover, main brush, and mop pad holder.- Start the cleaning process without these parts.

2. **If Noise Disappears:**

**Reinstall Side Brush:**- Start the robot and check for abnormal noise.- If noise persists, check if the side brush is deformed or tangled.

**Main Brush Cover and Floor:** - If the side brush works normally, friction between the main brush cover’s rubber strip and the floor may cause noise. Continue using it a few times to observe.

**Reinstall Main Brush:**- Check whether both ends of the main brush are tangled.- Ensure the main brush cover is properly installed on all four sides.

**If Noise Persists:**

**Main Wheels:**- Turn off the power, press down on both sides of the main wheels, and slide them to check for smooth rotation and proper rebound.- Clean any foreign objects if found.

**Universal Wheel:**- Ensure smooth rotation by cleaning if necessary.

**Filter Element:**- If the filter element was washed with water, ensure it is completely dry before use. Wet filters can cause abnormal noise. If the problem persists, please feel free to contact us again. Thank you for your understanding. (email adress:support.na@dreame.tech
