Dog poop

I got this product because it said that it avoids dog poop. My dog is very anxious and sometimes poops in the house. Specially in my kitchen. But twice already the machine has ran over the poop and spread it. Is anybody else having this issue?

It spread dog poop around on my carpet too. Pet settings were activated. Now after cleaning poop out of and off of it, it won’t turn on!

Hi,

If your machine has picked up pet feces, please refer to the following steps:
- Please confirm whether the product has AI recognition (some models do not have it)

1. Stop the sweeper immediately:
Turn off the sweeper in time to prevent further contamination and damage to the equipment.

2. Clean the outside of the sweeper:
Carefully clean the feces on the outside and wheels of the sweeper with a wet paper towel or disposable rag. Avoid using too much water to prevent moisture from entering the electronic components.

3. Clean the brush head and roller:
Remove the brush head and roller of the sweeper and wash them in water. You can use a neutral detergent to help remove feces, but avoid using strong acid and alkali detergents. Brush clean and dry.

4. Empty and clean the dust box:
Take out the dust box, empty it, wash it with water, and make sure it is thoroughly dry.

5. Check and handle the sensor:
If feces touches the sensor, gently wipe the sensor surface with a wet paper towel, being careful not to use too much force to avoid damaging the sensor.

6. Disinfection:
You can use appropriate disinfectant (such as diluted alcohol) to wipe the area where the machine passes to ensure thorough cleaning.

7. Ventilation and drying:
Make sure all cleaned parts are completely dry before reassembling the sweeper for use.
After cleaning, use the robot again to observe whether it can operate normally. If it can operate normally, there is no problem and it can be used normally.

If the above operations do not solve your problem, please contact (support.na@dreame.tech) for further support when you encounter this situation.
