I've had X50 for about 2 weeks. Got past initial mapping glitches caused by (I think) not waiting long enough for the initial fast mapping to load before editing. (Went through that process about 5 times before figuring out what was going on.)
It's been going great for about a week. I have been extra careful to ALWAYS back up the map after every edit.
Used it this morning on a couple of zones. Went to send it to another zone after that and the whole map was gone. Just showing the beginning "Start Fast Mapping" option.
Clicked on Edit map icon hoping to Restore but only got a pop-up "Create partition map first".
Eventually after many tries, gave up and let it start fast mapping for a few moments, then sent it back to dock and attempted to use Restore - only to find ZERO old maps there.
SO FRUSTRATED.
I have spent A LOT editing the map each time to get the rooms correct...
If you have backed up the map before, you can try to restore the map through map setting---restore.
If the map is still not restored after the restore operation, we recommend that you rebuild the map and then back up the map.

Thanks for sharing-I agree the mapping is hard to get had to delete app and use the small refresh button inside get it started again. I’m impressed but the machine knowing there are rooms I have yet to map out.
