Problems with mop pads not staying on robot

I just set up my l40 ultra and already having issues with the mop pads disconnecting or not being installed from doc station on vac when I go to select clean. Mop pads are getting stuck and get notification to install mop pads. Once I install the robot drops the pads and will not mop even on scheduled cleans? So frustrating as this is a brand new machine!

Dear user,

We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please follow these steps to try and resolve the issue:

1. **Check Mop Pad Holder Installation:**- Ensure the mop pad holder was not installed while the robot was turned off. It is recommended to install the mop pad holder after turning on the robot, as it may not attach magnetically otherwise.

2. **Preventing Mop Pad Holder from Falling:**- When the robot climbs over carpets, thresholds, or small steps, the mop pad holder may get stuck and fall. Set up a mopping restricted area to prevent the robot from entering such areas with the mop pad holder.- Tidy up any power cords on the floor before cleaning to prevent the mop pad holder from falling due to entanglement.

3. **Check Magnetic Attraction:**- Manually install the mop pad holder to ensure it attaches magnetically.

4. **Restart the Robot:**- Restart the robot and try the installation again. If the problem persists, please feel free to contact us(support.na@dreame.tech) again. Thank you for your understanding.
