X50 dock connection

My x50 seems to be having trouble docking cleanly. It will dock to recharge but won’t connect and ends up shutting down after the battery is drained. I have cleaned the sensors on the back of the device and station.

Did you move the base at anytime because they recommend that you don’t? Maybe remapping will help and keep the base in the location without moving it.

Hi,

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. To troubleshoot the issue, please follow these steps:

1. Check for any foreign matter or dust on the robot's charging contacts. Dust can cause repeated docking issues. Please wipe the contacts clean before use.

2. Ensure the metal shrapnel on the charging contacts is not jammed.

3. Restart the robot, remove it from the charging dock, and then try recharging it. Listen for the voice prompt saying "start charging."

4. Reset the robot: Open the upper cover and locate the small reset hole near the Wi-Fi indicator. Press and hold the reset hole for 3 seconds until you hear the voice prompt "Start to restore factory settings." Then, restart the robot to see if it functions normally. If the problem persists, please feel free to contact us again.Thank you for your understanding.

We hope above information can help you.

It can very well be the reason, i thought that the start and end times are the peak times to avoid charging through them, it was the other way around, so the start time is the start of the off peak, a
