[L40 Ultra] Can not go back to the dock

I just got it today and first time using it. After mopping, it has problem to climb back to the dock. By looking at it, I feel the base is too tall to it and the base extension plate is not enough. Some times it succeeds after trying many times but some time it stuck and ask people to bring it back. Anyone saw the same issue ? Thank you

Ours works. It does seem the angle is too steep but it has no issue docking.

Dear customer,

Thank you for contacting Dreame. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. To troubleshoot the issue, please follow these steps:
1. Check for any foreign matter or dust on the robot's charging contacts. Dust can cause repeated docking issues. Please wipe the contacts clean before use.

2. Ensure the metal shrapnel on the charging contacts is not jammed.

3. Restart the robot, remove it from the charging dock, and then try recharging it. Listen for the voice prompt saying "start charging."

4. Reset the robot: Open the upper cover and locate the small reset hole near the Wi-Fi indicator. Press and hold the reset hole for 3 seconds until you hear the voice prompt "Start to restore factory settings." Then, restart the robot to see if it functions normally.

If the problem persists, please feel free to contact us(support.na@dreame.tech) again.Thank you for your understanding.

I've heard if the base is on carpet, it can have trouble.

Thank you for the information. Our base is on a hard floor. And it doesn’t have problems to locate it. It just cannot climb up to the very ends successfully so it keeps coming up and down to try. And

Hi, It is best not to place the base station on the carpet, as it may not be accessible.
