Tricut Brush + Rug Tassels

Hello! Wondering if anyone else has found a solution to this issue.

I find the tri cut brush works much better in my home than the standard roller but I recently noticed that it was sucking up and cutting some of the tassels on my persian rugs. These are thinner tassels so I can understand why the roller would cut these (they’re thicker than hair, but still “hair-like”). But I’m wondering if theres any way I can have the vacuum avoid these tassels?

I unfortunately can’t set a “no go” zone since some of these rugs are in narrow hallways and that would block the entry to a bedroom.

Only thing I can think of is to set that room last and switch the rollers or pause the robovac and switch rollers. Kind of a pain I know, or get rid of the rugs lol

Hi,

Unfortunately, if the robot gets on the carpet, it's unavoidable. We'll need to set a restricted area for the fringed carpet. Could you try making the restricted area smaller?

We'll pass your feedback on to the relevant department.

i cannot shrink the area anymore unfortunately. it would be nice to have a different type of restriction called “no suction” or something where the vacuum shuts off when going over that area!
