X40 Mop Pad Installation Fail

The mop pads won’t install on their own. I have to do it manually everyday now. Got a clue?  It just started doing this when I got new mop pads.

Did you get dreame or aftermarket mop pads?

Hi,

We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please follow these steps to solve the problem:

1. **Check the magnetism of the mop pad**:- First, please switch the left and right mops to check whether their magnetism is normal. If there is a problem with the magnetism of the mop pad, it may cause the mop pad to not work properly.

2. **Confirm to use the original mop pad**:- Please make sure that you are using the original mop pad (mop pad) of Dreame. Using a non-original mop pad may affect the cleaning effect and the fixation of the mop pad.

3. **Troubleshoot as follows**:
a. **Take out the robot**: Take the robot out of the base station.
b. **Remove the mop holder**: Remove the mop pad holder installed on the robot.
c. **Manual restart**: Manually restart the robot, which can usually be achieved by pressing the power button.
d. **Wait for recovery**: After restarting, wait for the robot to fully recover to normal state. During this period, the machine's mop pad will rotate, which is normal.
e. **Reinstall the mop holder**: Reinstall the mop holder on the robot to ensure that it is installed securely.

If the above troubleshooting steps are ineffective, it is recommended that you arrange for after-sales maintenance (please contact support.na@dreame.tech )and inspection of the entire machine. Thank you for your understanding.
