Anyone here find use in the Max+ setting for vacuum? Is it worth the loudness and battery usage for more efficient vacuuming?

The Max+ mode can reach 11,000Pa, which is still enough to suck up a lot of things. If you prefer energy consumption, you can choose other modes.
