[X50 Ultra] L50 Ultra not installing mop pads after docking and washing

During scheduled cleanings, the vacuum will start by cleaning mop pads and often cannot start cleaning the room until they’ve been manually reinstalled. Rarely, it will be able to pick them up again and start cleaning as scheduled, but after every room will go back to dock and get them stuck again. I bought it maybe a week ago and it’s been having these issues since day 2.

Hi,

Please refer to the following troubleshooting:

1. Replace the mop pad: Please confirm whether the mop pad has been used for a long time. If the mop pad has been used for a long time, we recommend that you replace it first to see if the problem is improved.

2. Check the magnets on the mop pad holder: If you have replaced the mop pad but the problem persists, please check whether the magnets on the mop pad holder are normal.
Please first try to switch the left and right mops. If the magnets are normal, please confirm that you are using the original mop pad of Dreame. If you are using a non-original product, it is recommended to replace it with the original mop pad of Dreame to ensure compatibility and effect.
If the magnet on the mop pad holder is rusted or has abnormal magnetic properties, this may be the cause of the issue.

3. Further troubleshooting steps:
(1) Remove the robot from the base station, then remove the mop pad holder on the robot, and then manually restart the robot.
(2) Wait for the robot to restart and return to normal.
(3) After restarting, reinstall the mop pad holder on the robot.

If the above troubleshooting steps are ineffective, please contact us at support.na@dreame.tech. Please also collect videos of the abnormal behavior for further troubleshooting.

Thank you, I will try these. The mop pads are new since I just bought the robot. Is there a specific way to reset the robot or just turn off then on with the power button?
Thanks again!

Hi, Reset: open the robot's top cover. Find the reset button and press and hold for 3 seconds (it will lose all saved settings). Restart:Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds.
