Dreame L40 ultra cleaning solution

L40 Ultra came with a cleaning solution container.  Does the cleaning solution get mixed with water to mop the floor or is it just being used to clean the mop pads?

I just got done speaking with support and they are saying the cleaning solution is not just for cleaning the pads that it mixes with the water to clean floor

Maybe a drop per tank. I've put my own solution in the small tank and can never smell it even after I put my fingers on the wetness during mop.

Devices (X50 Ultra and below) only draw cleaning fluid to wash the mop when the base station is washing the mop. Cleaning fluid is not dispensed during the mopping process.

TBH, I have been putting my own solution: 1 part febreeze spray, 1 part hard wood cleaner (which I've personally diluted already to 2 parts water and 1 part cleaner), 1 part water. I put 2 full eyedroppers into the clean water tank. It works beautifully on my hardwoods in my apartment!
