Vacuum won't vacuum straight along walls...

When ut starts to vacuum a room, it doesn't go straight along the wall, it will do keep doing a little turn to the wall, straighten out, then turn to the wall again. When it comes to another partitioned room, it will go straight. Not sure why or how to get it to hug the wall. Oterwise, why have the brush...
