Mop Pads error message

My L40 Ultra AE keeps erroring for mop pads detaching then reattaching cause the cleaning process to stop. This happens about ever minute of cleaning in mop mode. I’ve taken them off and on numerous times thinking that will solve the problem and they are secure.  The connection is clean and the unit is brand new. This is the first time using the machine. Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
Please try the following troubleshooting.

1. Check if the base station cleaning pad is properly installed.

2. **Replace the mop pad**: Please confirm how long the mop pad has been used. If it has been used for a long time, we recommend replacing it to see if the issue improves.

3. **Check the magnet on the mop pad holder**: If you have replaced the mop pad but the problem persists, please check if the magnet on the mop pad holder is functioning properly.

First, try switching the left and right mop pads. If the magnet is working fine, please ensure that you are using the original mop pad from DREAME. If you are using a non-original product, we suggest switching to the original mop pad from DREAME to ensure compatibility and effectiveness. If the magnet on the mop pad holder is rusty or malfunctioning, the mop pad holders need to be replaced.

4. **Further troubleshooting steps**:
   - (1) Remove the robot from the base station, then detach the mop pad holder from the robot, and manually restart the robot.
   - (2) Wait for the robot to restart and return to normal.
   - (3) After restarting, reinstall the mop pad holder onto the robot.

If the issue remains unresolved after completing the above steps, please contact support.na@dreame.tech for further investigation and assistance.
Also, kindly provide a video of the problem to help with diagnosis.
