[X50 Ultra] No water used for mopping

I wonder if it’s dry mopping. When it finishes, it says to empty wastewater, but the last couple weeks there has been nothing in it.

I wondered the same thing and you can change how much water it uses. So max it had nothing left but when I put it on med there was so much left and it wasnt dirty at all..I dont really understand the mopping feature. Doesn't seem like it uses enough water and like where is the dirty water going beside the tiny pad?

Having this issue. Mops are dry despite full base tank and trying mop only mode or other modes with max wet. Have hard reset the device and checked firmware updates. Base station dispenses water into tray for cleaning.

Hi,

First, confirm that the base station is properly discharging water. After washing the mop, check to see if the mop is properly moistened. Also, after washing the mop, check to see if water is being properly recovered in the wastewater tank, or check to see if there is any residual wastewater at the bottom of the base station.

If the base station does not produce water, you can refer to the following troubleshooting:

1. Check the cleaning solution
- Please make sure that you are using **the Dreame official cleaning solution**. It is not recommended to add cleaning solution or disinfectant from other brands, as this may cause internal pipes to become clogged, which will affect the performance of the machine.

2. Check the clean water tank
- Please check whether there are foreign objects blocking the sealing plug and pipes of the clean water tank, and make sure that there are no objects that hinder the water flow.

3. Check the clean water tank cover
- Make sure that the clean water tank cover is closed. If you are not sure, you can gently open and reinstall the clean water tank to ensure that it is firmly installed.

4. Clean the water outlet at the bottom of the base station
- Use a cleaning tool to clean the water outlet at the bottom of the base station, and make sure that there is no dirt or debris affecting the water outlet.

5. Base station self-cleaning and water outlet observation
- You can perform self-cleaning of the base station and observe the water outlet at the bottom of the base station:
(You can find the function in the Dock settings.)

If the base station is discharging water properly, you can confirm that the device is dry mopping by:

1. **Check the water discharge from the small water tank**:
- Please remove the mop pad from the robot and only install the mop pad holder on the robot.
- Then, start the mopping task from the base station, wait for 5 minutes, and check if there are water droplets on the ground.
- If there are small water droplets on the ground, it means that the robot's small water tank can discharge water normally.

2. **Adjust the backwash frequency setting**:
- Please guide the user to enter the settings and adjust the "mop-washing frequency" option to "by area—10㎡."
- After the setting is completed, please continue to observe the use of the robot under this setting to confirm whether it can mop the floor normally.

If the issue remains unresolved after completing the above steps, please contact support.na@dreame.tech for further investigation and assistance.
Also, kindly provide a video of the problem to help with diagnosis.
