X40 Master leaks

New X40 Master install, professionally plumbed. Initial install had drainage into utility sink which was a few inches beyond the maximum allowed.

The unit leaked after the first few runs, so I switched (for now) to draining into a gallon sized pitcher.

That seemed to resolve the issue for a few weekly runs, until today when I noticed water all over our new laminate floor. Unfortunately, the water sat long enough today, that the floor is now damaged. The water is not coming from the plumbed area. Seems to be coming from under the unit.

Need guidance to resolve the issue or a return authorization. The sweeper is great, but the plumbed option must be leak proof or I’ll need to return the unit.

Reading through other posts, I’m not super excited about completing twenty troubleshooting steps on a brand new unit. We’ve only run the thing four or five times.

Their contact info including phone is in the help tab under settings.

They respond by email promptly also. You'll need to video the issue to help communicate the issue and ideally before the robot dies from water dmg.

Hi,

Please try the following troubleshooting steps.

1. Confirm that the three-way valve is properly sealed. We suggest you place a paper towel near the three-way valve to check for leaks.

2. Confirm that the locking clips on the water pipe are properly installed. We suggest you check and reinstall the clips and observe the results.

3. Confirm whether the leakage occurs during mop washing. If so, please place an object on the base station while washing the mop to see if it improves the situation. If it improves, the problem may be due to an internal sealing issue preventing the equipment from draining wastewater.

If the issue remains unresolved and you are a user in North America, you can contact support.na@dreame.tech for support.

Also, please provide a video of the problem to aid in diagnosis.
