[X50 Ultra] Docking and Mop Pad Issues

My Dreame X50 Ultra Complete worked like a dream for about 1.5 months. The nightmare began with it not being able to dock itself and sounding like it was miss-stepping when reversing into the dock. We’ve moved it around as suggestions that the location may be unleveled; however it did not hell and it has just gotten worse now. So we started helping it dock when needed but now there are more issues 😭 When starting the vacuum with mop after vacuum, vacuum only or mop only the Dreame will remove mop pads then ask for the mop pads to be installed and never starts the task.

We have done every maintenance recommendation provided in the manual, read online and even our own. We’ve done a soft reset and a hard reset.

**Its only allowing me to post the dock video**

Hi,
Please follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:

noise issue:
Please remove the side brush, roller brush, and mop pad from the bottom of the machine and then start it. If the sound returns to normal:
· First, install the side brush and start the machine. If unusual sounds occur, please check if the side brush is deformed.
· If the side brush is normal, the friction noise from the roller brush cover of a new machine typically lessens or disappears after several uses.
· If unusual sounds occur after installing the roller brush, please remove it, check both ends for any tangled debris, and ensure the cover is correctly installed and securely snapped into place on all sides.

If the abnormal sound persists after removing all the components mentioned above:
· Please power off the robot, press down on both drive wheels simultaneously and slide them to check if they rotate smoothly and rebound properly when released, and then clean them.
· Please rotate the universal wheel to check if it moves smoothly, and clean it if necessary.
· If you have washed the filter assembly, please ensure it is completely dry before use.

mop pad issue

1. Check Base Station Wash Board
Confirm the wash board in the base station is properly installed.

2. Replace Mop Pad
If the mop pad has been used for a long time, we recommend replacing it with a new one to see if the issue improves.

3. Check Mop Pad Holder Magnet
a.If the problem persists after replacing the mop pad, check if the magnets on the mop pad holder are functioning normally
b.Try swapping the left and right mop pads for testing
c.Confirm you are using genuine mop pads
d.If the magnets are rusty or have abnormal magnetism, you need to replace a new mop pad holder

4. Device Restart and Reinstallation
Remove the robot from the base station, detach the mop pad holders, then manually restart the robot
After the robot restarts and returns to normal, reinstall the mop pad holders

If the issue remains unresolved and you are a user in North America, you can contact support.na@dreame.tech for support. Also, kindly provide a video of the problem to help with diagnosis.
