L50 Ultra returning to dock without cleaning

My new L50 ultra will clean a few rooms on it’s scheduled clean and then return to the dock to charge (charge is still over 70%) and then not resume cleaning. It worked great for the first few days but now it does this and won’t do a full clean anymore. Any suggestions?

My complaint as well. So frustrating, can’t ever get it to finish correctly. I would think the company could look in the log files of our vacuums and figure out why it keeps getting interrupted.

Hi,

To resolve this issue, please follow the troubleshooting steps below:
I. Check No-Go Zones
Open the robot’s app, go to the map management section, and check if the target area is set as a no-go zone.
If a no-go zone is set, the robot will avoid the area, preventing it from reaching the designated spot. Please remove it from the settings.
Restart the cleaning task to see if the robot can now reach the area.

II. Check for Obstacles
a. Clear Path Obstacles
Look for and remove any obstacles on the robot’s path, such as furniture, toys, or wires.
b. Ensure Doors Are Open
Check if doors leading to the target area are open, as closed doors will block the robot.
c. Check Carpets or Mats
Remove any carpets or mats at entryways, as they may prevent the robot from entering.

III. Check the Robot’s Status
a. Restart the Robot
Press the power button on the robot to restart it, then retry the cleaning task.
b. Clean Sensors and wheels
Wipe the sensors on the bottom of the robot (e.g., cliff sensors, wall sensors) and the wheels to prevent dust from affecting performance.
c. Check Battery Level
Ensure the robot has enough battery to complete the task.

If the issue remains unresolved and you are a user in North America, you can contact support.na@dreame.tech for support. Also, kindly provide a video of the problem to help with diagnosis.
