Mop and carpet

Hello,
I just recently bought this and was wondering if i start it for sweeping and vaccuuming, does it raise the mop and stop spraying when it hits carpet? I have a rug but can't figure out if it lifts it? I dont want it to mop my rug lol

Hi there! So on your app (Dreame App) there should be a setting that you might have to enable for the robot to sense when it’s approaching OR starts vacuuming on a carpet surface. Once it detects carpet, the mop pads or robot should rise about an inch or so taller so the mop pads don’t graze over your carpet. Also, sometimes your robot might raise the carpet when it starts driving over the edges, it’s just one of those things that might or might not happen. I don’t know which version of the robot vacuum you have so I’m not sure if your robot has that capability since I know there’s various types. Hope this helps!
