X50 ultra leaving dust balls all over the place around carpet

My X50 ultra despite having all of the intensive carpet cleaning settings on seems to be leaving dust balls on carpet consistently. Pictures shown are just from today's cleaning but they have been significantly worse than this in the past couple of days it also seems that it is tucking dust under the sides of all of my carpets.

I also realized the main brush wasn't spinning for some reason so I reinstalled it a bunch of times and eventually it made it start spinning so there might be something wrong with my robot

Good call, the filter had a lot of hair on it, but it's only been operating since the day after Christmas. a testament to the amount of pet hair in my house 😂.
