Vacuum gets confused and repeatedly washes mop pads

We have Dreame x50. Sometimes it completes it's scheduled cleaning tasks properly. However sometimes it gets confused and repeatedly returns to the dock over and over again. Each time it detaches and reattached it's mop pads. It then cleans the mop pads until it runs out of clean water. I'll have tried remapping but the problem reoccurs.

I have this same problem. Is there a fix anyone is aware of?

L50 Ultra. Set to vacuum 1 room which it’s done before. It says ‘cleaning selected room’, leaves the dock, spins, goes forward a few inches, the say ‘cleaning completed’. History shows job completed 0ft. I can’t get it to actually vacuum the bedroom. Any ideas?
