Carpets first

For some reason the robot fails to follow the instructions of vacuuming the carpets first. I previously had the l20 version that did not have this problem. I upgraded to the x50 ultra and it doesn't seem to follow my directions it's kind of odd any suggestions?

You have a deluxe model with aAI features. Try it out. Does not solve your issue but if it works it seems like an acceptable workaround if you found a software bug.

The robot is currently running in CleanGenius mode, but it is still ignoring the 'Carpets First' instruction and mopping hard floors while the pads are active. When it does get to the carpets it gets it wet, just what I'm trying to avoid. More importantly, it is completely skipping a rug under my sectional that I have already identified on the map. This rug is cushioned and raised (memory foam), but has tapered and taped down edges to avoid a trip hazard, and the robot seems to be treating it like a solid obstacle rather than a floor surface. Why would the Al override a manual carpet identification and skip it entirely?
