Brand new, mapping was great but it seems to not have any method when vac or mop.

Very odd. Have you tried it on smaller areas, say a small zone? In my case, the robot typically does the perimeter of the room/zone and then parallel back and forths in the remaining rectangle.

How do I get the vacuum to advance power from  tile to carpet?
