I could not map my second floor either. I ended up buying a second one   Now I have one on both floors and it is much easier than carrying everything up and down the stairs.

After you clean the first floor and you’re wanting to go to your second mapped or cleaned where there is no doc. Click on device and it will take you to what you just cleaned all over beside that. There is three little squares. I would call them squares click on the second one and down at the bottom of the page it will say multiple floors click on that and if you haven’t mapped, it go down past that and it will say create map if you have  maps it it should show you that map , click apply and it will go to the data for that room or rooms , make sure  your vacuum cleaner in the rooms you want to clean and click on it will create a map of that floor when you get ready to clean the second floor then you can pull up the second map and click apply and it will load the data for that second floor, I hope that makes sense.
Dear user,

Thank you for reaching out to Dreame.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused. In order to assist you in resolving the issue, we kindly request that you follow the troubleshooting steps outlined below:

1. Inspect the Main Wheels:
Please turn off the robot and carefully flip it over. Gently press the main wheels with both hands and examine them for any entangled foreign matter. If any debris is found, kindly clean it and manually slide the main wheels to ensure they turn smoothly.

2. Relocate and Restart:
We recommend moving the robot to an open space and restarting it.Please avoid operating the robot under strong light or on dark surfaces, as these conditions may affect its functionality.

3. Check the LDS Sensor:
Ensure that the LDS Sensor located on the top of the robot rotates normally. If necessary, clean any foreign matter from the sensor. (Please note that this step does not apply to the F9 model.)

4. Restart the Robot:
Kindly restart the robot and attempt to use it again.

5. Factory Reset:
Open the upper cover of the robot. Press and hold the reset button for 3 seconds to restore the factory settings. Afterward, please restart the robot and verify if the problem persists. For further information, please refer to the article:

If you still cannot charge, please contact: support.na@dreame.tech

Place the robot correctly in the base station and charge for 2-3 hours to see if the robot can charge normally.

Please wipe and clean the charging contacts on the robot's charging plate and the bottom of the base station.
