The DreameHome app may fail to display devices or encounter addition errors due to the following reasons. Troubleshoot by following these steps:
I. Device Not in Pairing Mode
Press and hold the device's reset button for approximately 5 seconds until it emits a beep. Wait for the indicator light to flash red slowly, confirming the device is in pairing mode before attempting addition.
II. Permission Settings Issues

Check Location Permissions: Go to your phone's “Settings,” locate the DreameHome app, and enable “Location Permissions.”
2.
Enable Local Network Permissions: In your phone settings, ensure the DreameHome app has “Local Network” permissions enabled.
3. Network Environment Issues
1.
Avoid Simultaneous Device Pairing: Ensure only one phone is performing pairing operations at a time.
2.
Verify device hotspot status: If the device hotspot does not activate automatically, return to the “Device Reset” page and follow the prompts to reset. The hotspot will then activate automatically.
IV. App Version Issues
Update the DreameHome App to the latest version. Older versions may have compatibility issues.
V. Special Case Handling
If the above steps fail, contact the development team for further troubleshooting at support.na@dreame.tech. Additionally, try uploading the network configuration log via the App's “Me → Help & Feedback → Report Log” feature. Provide the configuration time, time zone, device SN, and configuration video to assist the technical team in analysis.
