Disappointing issues

my L40 ultra has been abormally docking for the last 12 tasks. It has been unable to find the dock for the last 1 month. No uneven flooring, dust on metal shrapnels nor contacts, it's becoming an annoying issue

What troubleshooting steps have you taken?

Does it charge if you put it on the dock?  Mine wouldn’t and after  re-cleaning all the sensors and it still not recognizing the dock, I realized the cord was a little loose where it connects to the base.  

I have just bought a brand new/never used until now machine & am having this problem currently.

Brand new/never used and it won't charge.
