[X40 Ultra] Robovac not returning to dock

My x40 ultra is not returning to dock, it keeps on wandering around for a few minutes and then stops very close to the docking station. I have also manually put it inside the dock but it doesn’t recognize it and doesn’t charge. This started after the robovac completed the scheduled cleaning last night.

Mine did this and I realized that the power cord was slipping out of the base plug. I suggest turning the base around to make sure the plug is still snuggly fit in the base and that the base is turned on.

I unplugged the wire for a few minutes and plugged it again, still the same issue

Is there a white light showing on the base?

I went through this last night they say power, the vacuum off unplugged the charging dock for one minute after one minute plug the charging dock back in do not turn the vacuum back on take the vacuum and manually set it inside the dock make sure you’re on a wooden or tile floor if you’re on carpet, this is the biggest problem. What caused your problem I had my dock station. I moved it from my wood floor to my carpet and it’s not acting crazy. I did this also clean the two silver charging connectors on the robot and inside the dock station make sure you clean them good that’s another thing to take care of see how that works for you now on your map where your dock station is is it correctly on the map? This is another issue like if you moved your station and it’s still showing in the old place this completely confuses a robot so make sure it’s on a carpet and make sure whatever it’s on the map. That’s where it is. Let me know how that works. Follow all those instructions. I went through this last night if you need more instructions, download an AI app like ROCK or the other ones and ask them they will walk you through it.

Unplug the charging dock from the main power point and remove the plug from the back of the charging dock.
On the back of the charging dock at the top middle there is a small thin switch with the symbols O and I.
O means off and I means on. Make sure the part of the button next to the I ( ON symbol) is pressing down and the part of the button next to the O (OFF symbol) is pushed out.

Then after that you're gonna want to plug everything back in and the robo vac/mop should be able to charge properly.

Does that make sense? Hope this helps! Happy to provide further information if needed.

By the way I live in Melbourne, Australia but the only option is the United States, LOL.

Anyway I hope you have a wonderful day/night, wherever you are. :) xo
