Robot randomly says cleaning mop heads/charging battery

My robot has begun to randomly announce its recharging battery or cleaning mop heads at times beyond just being used. A few times it did this in the middle of the night.  I’ve unplugged and  plugged in and actually had to remap house because map totally rearranged names of rooms on its own. This seems to have happened after updating firmware.  
Any idea what is going on and how I can resolve?

It’s so odd! We’ve had it for a year this past December and never had issues before

I think I've also heard mine in the middle of the day announcing that it was recharging without being asked, or been used for over 24h.
And I've only had it for less than a week
