Is there a new software bug?

It seems that my x40 ultra has become useless. I’ve cleaned everything- which isn’t new I always kept it clean anyway. It will do part of the job and at some random point after docking to clean pads/empty, it never resumes. It just sits there. No warnings or errors. I have to either end the task or manually power the unit off and back on. It seems there’s nothing physically wrong with the unit and that there’s some recent software that has made this a useless turd. Anyone else having the same issues?

Absolutely…and it makes 1 or2 maybe 3 swipes around the great room (22’x 26’) and docks.  Then comes out with mop pads on/clean and starts to mop.  Actually leaves clumps of wet dog hair and dirt all over room.   Does this to wood Floors and doesn’t vacuum the area hardly any. Still debris on area rug. Very frustrating. Have had since November 2025 and the vacuum part sucks big time.  Called several times and vacuum not any better.  My roomba did a better job at vacuuming!  GEEZ!!!

For some reason, mine believes the carpet needs to be mopped. How the fuck do I keep it from doing that not saying I’m very impressed with this somewhat frustrating piece of shit keeps wanting to dock halfway through the process.

Mine has become weird too … it has a hard time coming off the dock. Doesn’t dock right the first time , tells me the mop pads are off and they aren’t! I’ve never had problems with this !

Mine is 6 months old I already sent it back cause it wasn’t mopping right . They returned it fixed saying I used unofficial cleaner solution . Now it won’t connect after getting it back after 2 weeks and it won’t charge either
