Not docking + not filtering

My vacuum runs for a few minutes, and when it returns to the dock to clean mop pads it gets stuck going back and forth to the dock saying “mop pad cleaning”. It continues to do this until the battery dies.

At the same time, the dirty water is getting emptied onto the washboard instead of into the tank.

I’ve checked to make sure there is no clog in the dirty water pipe, and next on my list is the o ring at the bottom of the tank. But I don’t understand the endless “mop pad cleaning” cycle.

Do I potentially have two issues here?

Is it under warranty?
