Help needed. Assistance with new vacuum. Dirty water tank not filling

I just received Mr vacuum/mop. Have used twice. Both uses, dirty water is not draining from the tray. Dirty water tank is pushed all the way in and clicked into place. No visible blockages. I hear “error” too much water in tray. I mop up the tray with a towel. Still seeing no problem after cleaning myself.
