Won't return to job after going to empty dist bin and recharge water

Our new L40 Ultra ran great the first couple of times but now it will run normally until it returns to the station to empty dust bin and recharge water. It will not go back to where it left off. We have done a factory reset, re-did the fast mapping and it still won't return to where it left off. This is too expensive to have it sit doing nothing. Any advice is welcome.

I cant give advice. Following, because mine does the same thing.

Have about 2000 square foot home. The battery has to return to bace and recharge several times. Started out on full charge. Is that normal? Seems like it should last long enough to clean the entire house.  The map it created does not look like my floor plan. Can’t tell where it been or where it’s going.
