Different levels of the home

I’m curious how it best start vacuuming/mopping on different floors of my house. Do I start the process where the mop station is then carry it to the new area? Do I take the entire station to the new floor so it can return to clean the mop pads??

Mine was never complete the mapping process. It drove me crazy

Following...doing great on the first floor of my house where it was initiated. Now I want to use it on the second floor without undoing anything on the first level.
