Not returning to charging station

I have a Dreame Ultra40 and have loved it since the day I un-boxed it. Recently, for about the last week and a half, it is not returning onto the charging station. Each day,  when i return from work, I find the robot has returned to the charging station and stops about 2" from the ramp. There are no obstacles to hinder its proper and full return to the station. I haven't moved the station or changed anything in its map. This just recently started. Each day I need to manually return it to its charging position.
Has anyone else experienced this?

What was the solution?
This is becoming problematic. Any assistance from other Dreame Ultra4p owners would be greatly appreciated.
