Vacuum smells

I have had this vacuum for over 2 months now with consistent use and cleaning. We always scrub out the dirty water tank and make sure the roller and everything is clean.

However, upon turning the machine on recently, there is a stench that comes out of the vacuum that is so hard to bear. Are we missing a step? Is this just defective?

I have the same issue as well.

Another user discovered that something organic had become trapped in the robot. Might be the issue.

I always add at least a 1/4 of vinegar to the dirty water bin while filling up the clear bin with water and I have not had this issue

I am really disgusted by Dreame’s decision that it was too much trouble to provide a real user manual.  Our robot works fine, but there are many features I presume exist that I cannot use because the menus and choices are incomprehensible.

How do I re-map? I have missing rooms.

We only used our machine 3 times and it won’t connect to the main system to charge. We have physically put the machine on the main system and it turns on and then after a few seconds turns back off. It is frustrating that we can’t use it after spending $1600 on it. Please advise us what we can do to resolve the issues.
