[L50 Ultra] Mop pad errors

I was having mop pad issues, so I installed the mop pads manually and then sent the robot to the dock. Then I shut the machine off, waited a few minutes and restarted. When I tried to start my task, the robot said "Mop pads off." Now what?

I and others have had similar issues. If you search the forum, you will find descriptions and suggested troubleshooting including: swapping mop pad holder; ensuring mop pads are Dreame brand; ensuring there are no obstacles impeding magnetic hold; etc. I eventually had to send mine for repairs, which were quite speedy. Good luck.

Please try the following steps to help us narrow it down:

Check how long the mop pad has been in use — if it's worn, try replacing it with a new one.

If the issue continues, inspect the magnet on the mop pad holder:

Swap the left and right pads to test functionality.

Make sure you're using genuine Dreame mop pads.

Check if the magnet is rusty or weak (refer to the attached picture). If so, we can send you a replacement holder.

Still not working? Try this:

Remove the robot from the base station, take off the mop holders, restart the robot, then reinstall the holders.

If none of these help, there may be a hardware issue. Please let us know the results and we'll assist you further.
