Docking and mop pad issue

My brand new Dreame X50 Ultra will not dock!  It tries and tries and tries, but fails...so, I manually dock it.  Then, when I try to have it mop, it says mop pads not attached...but they ARE attached!  Before returning this unit as a lemon, I'm wondering if others have experienced this problem...and whether something can be done to resolve it!  Thanks!

That's too bad. Presumably, you've checked for obstacles (or protective stickers) on the robot or the base.

It’s been sooo glitchy. Mine is having issues docking/undocking. Hopefully it’s fixed with an update but I think if you send it back it’ll have similar issues

I have had the same issue with my X50 since the beginning of the month.

The issue might be a bad software update.
