Why won’t my robo vacuum clean obvious areas?

I had a Roborock q7 m5+ before my Dreame d30 ultra ce and I’m so confused: the Dreame has a better more reliable app but it leans SO MUCH LESS than the Roborock. I have all my edge cleaning settings turned on to maximize edge cleaning. In the picture below I’ve highlighted all the spots that the Roborock used to clean that the Dreame does not. What’s the point of having a vacuum if it doesn’t clean the areas that need cleaning the most? Am I missing something? There were no barriers or objects obstructing the area.

I much prefer the UX and mopping of the Dreame but I don’t understand why it really won’t clean the edges of my apartment - that’s where help is needed most! In the product description, it claims it can do this.

Mine is doing the same. Overall, I am not impressed with my vacuum. It has a new issue literally everyday.

Mysterious. I notice the setting is for "All". Does the robot behave the same way if you clean a specific room or a zone? There's also a collision-avoidance mode you might toggle in floor cleaning settings. Good luck!

Where do you add the solution?

In general, the navigation of your robot looks pretty bad in some rooms.

For starters, you should power cycle your base and robot (unplug the base for 1 minute, take the robot out of the dock and hold down the power button until it turns off - leave it off for 1 minute) and wipe the sensors.

If that doesn't help (as much as I hate doing this myself) sometimes re-mapping makes a big difference.
