EdgeMaster Changes Required!

I have just set up my mower for the first time and it was going great until it went to do the edges by my road. Because the lawn meets the public road there are small pieces of gravel at the base of the grass. With the edgemaster toggled on, for some reason the engineers have decided to lower the blades to 3cm, which, on my very first run, destroyed the blades on the small rocks in the grass. On the initial passes it was perfect but 3cm is WAY TO LOW! I absolutely love the fact that the cutting table shifts over to get closer to the edge but it should not lower or the edging height should be adjustable. Everywhere I look, people are complaining about this and Dreame does not seem to listen to anyone or reply with any focus, just generic answers. I sure hope they read these and listen to what people are saying as it could make this one of the top mowers in it's category or one of the bottom ones! To the bottom only because Dreame are not listening. This does not give confidence in the buying public. I purchased this for the moving side to side cutting table but did not expect it to shave off my grass.

Please Dreame listen and fix the design. Hopefully it is as simple as a firmware update. We won't know if they don't answer...
