Sunken living room

My living room is two steps below the main level. My x60 has mapped it, even though it can’t get to it. I would like to use it on that floor. Do I just pick it up, put it down there and start it? It won’t be able to return to the docking station. How do others handle this?

For mine, I do the multi floor mapping, which I believe is what you are talking about and correct me if I'm wrong, but yes, for mine I just bring it to the other floor, go to the app and start it, it won't fall down the stairs or anything because of the sensors, but it will still let you know when it's done!

It will adjust if you are using the clean genius for the amount of room for debris in the robots tank and water levels for mopping since it won't be able to return to it, sometimes I've done is I bring it back to my main level where the docking station is, go to the app click dock, then click, wash mop, the it will refill the clean water and solution tanks while also cleaning the mop head thoroughly
